Meet Rebecca

Certified Life Coach

Hi! My name is Rebecca Svrjcek. I am a Certified Mental Load Life Coach who specializes in Life Transitions, Relationships, and Stress Management and values the belief that everyone holds the power within themselves to live the life they want with confidence, fulfillment, and clarity.

As someone who found themselves in their own personal “quarter-life crisis” years ago, I know firsthand what hitting rock bottom feels like: embarrassing, confusing, overwhelming, isolating, scary, and hopeless.

My focus is to empower you with the tools you have to gain awareness and confidence that you can have a more fulfilled, satisfied, and balanced life. Life is full of curveballs, but what you aren’t changing, you are choosing. Coaching is what brings some day to RIGHT NOW.

While I am based in Baltimore, Maryland, my sessions are virtual and coaching provides a unique opportunity for me to work with people all over the world!

My Beliefs & Values as a Life Coach

I hold the belief and value that personal growth is a lifelong process and sometimes there are roadblocks or circumstances that make us feel stuck, confused, and overwhelmed. I will support you through exploring habits and patterns, prioritizing your wants and needs, and building confidence in decision making. Together we will develop a plan where you leave each session feeling empowered and having achieved your desired outcome.

My Experience & Expertise

I have a Masters in Social Work and am licensed as a clinical social worker (LCSW-C) in the state of Maryland and have spent my career providing psychotherapy to children, adults, and families in managing symptoms related to mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, and trauma. I value the work of mental health professionals tremendously and also deeply value the purpose of life coaching.

So, what’s the difference?

Individual psychotherapy supports a person who may be experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, relationship difficulties, depression, trauma, or emotional regulation, which impact their ability to live and cope in daily life.

Individual life coaching supports a person who, while they may experience sadness, fears, and anxieties, are looking for direction to feel more satisfied and fulfilled in their life.

How do I know if I need therapy or coaching?

If you aren’t sure which service would be most appropriate for you, it is recommended that you chat with a therapist and coach to determine what feels like the best bit and most supportive of what you are looking for. I would be happy to talk with you about these options.

Here are a few general guidelines to consider:

Therapy may be the best fit if:

  • You have mental health challenges (anxiety, depression, trauma history, etc.) that impact your ability to live and cope in everyday life.

  • You want to process and make connections between your past and present life to identify patterns, themes, and beliefs about yourself.

  • You want to improve relationship dynamics through the lens of exploring previous patterns, experiences, and history.

Life Coaching may be the best fit if:

  • You are seeking to live a more fulfilled, satisfied, and empowered life.

  • You have goals for your future and would like support and accountability in those goals becoming your reality.

  • You want to explore and redefine your life purpose and gain confidence & clarity for your future.
